The Longest Day ... A Perfect Ending

The golden hue of the sun cast across the distant horizon and slowly dimmed
as waters softly lapped upon the shore and gulls made a final pass,
bringing a beautiful end to the year's longest day.

The Magic of a Sunset

The evening slowly passes as one walks along the shore.  There's a quiet ambiance
broken only by the call of a gull and water lapping on the sands.  The setting sun
casts its' brilliance as far as the eye can see and one's mind wanders past
the day's matters to the pleasures of yesterday and the dreams of tomorrow.
For a few brief moments our thoughts are colored by the magical aura of the setting sun.

A Saharan Dust Sunset

For a fleeting moment along Florida's gulf shore, the dull, overcast evening
sky affected by Saharan Dust was beautifully painted by the setting sun.

Some moments are truly golden!

Day's end

"Never go too long without watching a sunset."
                                                                                                                                  …….. Atticus

Day comes to a beautiful end on Florida's Gulf Coast.
